Mow-me ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Mow-me mobile application, a marketplace connecting homeowners with local lawn care and outdoor service professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account Information: Your full name, email address, phone number, and account type. Passwords are stored as encrypted hashes.
Property Information: Property addresses, location coordinates, lawn square footage, and hardscape measurements used to generate quotes and direct professionals.
Location: With your permission, we access your device location to show nearby professionals and enable real-time job tracking.
Payment Information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details — only the Stripe customer ID and transaction references.
Reviews: Ratings and written reviews submitted after completed jobs are stored and displayed within the App.
Push Notifications: Your device push token is stored to deliver job status updates and alerts.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
To create and manage your account, generate price quotes, connect customers with professionals, process payments, send notifications, and maintain platform security.
HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
Between Users: Your property address is shared with your assigned professional. The professional's name and profile are visible to you.
Stripe: Payment data is shared with Stripe for processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
DATA RETENTION
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information is removed immediately. Anonymized job records may be retained for legal compliance.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the App. You may revoke location and notification permissions through your device Settings at any time.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
